ABOUT US
Our occupational health clinic is based in the heart of the Goldfields in Welkom which is easily accessible to all surrounding towns. We deliver occupational health services within the framework of the Health and Safety Act. Our services can be booked in advance and also allows for walk-in clients.
We also do understand that organizing the logistics to transport employees, to an occupational health clinic, can be time-consuming and can create logistical challenges. Therefore, we also perform medicals on-site should that be more convenient to meet your needs.
WHY IS MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS IMPORTANT?
- It is prescribed by several Acts of which the Occupational Health and Safety Act (Act 85 of 1993) and the Mine Health and safety Act (Act 74 of 2008) are the most important.
- To determine any medical risks of the employee that can cause harm to him/her or fellow employees and do the necessary referral to healthcare providers.
- To ensure that an employee is placed correctly in the workplace.
- To do necessary relevant medical surveillance tests according to risk exposure to ensure the health and safety of the employees.
- A safe working environment and healthy employees is a key factor for a successful business.

OUR AIM
To identify any medical risks with employees that may be a risk for the employee and others in the workplace.
To make sure that the employee is medically fit to perform his duties as per his/her job description.
To make the necessary referral when any medical or occupational conditions are identified in order to ensure the health and safety of the employee, and therefore secure productivity in the workplace.
